FieldCore, part of GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Project Controls Intern to join our Operations and Productivity team based in Italy.

As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.
 
Let’s Talk about the Role
 
As a FieldCore intern you will partner with the cross functional teams to build and execute world-class projects, programs and solutions. You will provide full-service support in the areas of building business/market cases for novel solutions with consideration for the growth of our company and ever-changing market dynamics.
 
You will focus on learning how FieldCore runs and be expected to gain valuable insight that can further your interest in your chosen career field. In addition to your duties within the Productivity department, you will have the opportunity to meet managers and executive members of the team. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Project Conrols.
 
The internship will be 90% remote, 10% in-office depending on proximity to office and be expected to be available 20 hours/week.
 
How You Will Make a Difference
 
The global project controls COE intern will work closely with intern leader to monitor and improve the Project Controls role through tools automation and implementing strategic process change. To do this you will:
 
  • Work closely with other team members to provide training support
  • Troubleshoot PCA issues related to tools and process; preferred candidate will have expert excel skills
  • Provide support in all aspects of the job assignment
  • Assist with the implementation of new initiatives
  • Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
  • Execute on project goals
  • Assist the intern leader with planning and organizing tasks
  • Prepare and present reports as needed
  • Shadow multiple positions and train in a variety of tasks
  • Achieve learning and performance goals agreed for the internship
  • Understand and comply with FieldCore work hours, policy and procedures
  • Complete assigned trainings
